In 2007, we expanded our presence further by establishing Al Yousuf General Trading LLC, a company dedicated to hardware and building materials supply in the region. This strategic move allowed us to diversify our offerings and cater to the growing demand for high-quality construction materials, reinforcing our commitment to serving the Gulf’s evolving infrastructure needs.
IMECO’s expansion paralleled the UAE’s infrastructural boom and the rapid growth of construction activities. Our business saw exponential growth, particularly in Kuwait after the Gulf War, where we played a crucial role in supplying essential products and services. In 1995, we diversified further, launching a full-fledged electrical division, followed by the establishment of our soft furnishings division, Moosa Habib Carpets and Curtains.
